This was by far one of the top five things I did thus far abroad. I had done solo sky dives before and quite a lot of other adventure activities so I was pretty calm waiting my turn on the platform. The men that were up there suiting us up and giving us instructions loved their jobs and were so cool and funny. Then again, most of the men I meet here are! I was all strapped up and at the edge of the platform and it hit me. Holy cow, was it a long way down. I got this videotaped and in the video you can hear the camera man say “oi! it appears that the lassie seems a bit scared” haha I laughed so hard when I watched this. Nonetheless, I did indeed jump and plunged into the water below up until my knees. My mates didn’t even touch the water so they were laughing so hard when they saw how drenched I was. I deserved it I suppose for making fun and goofing with all the employees so much. I got to check bungee jumping off my bucket list, but I doubt it’ll be the last time I go!
